Dream Fall: The Longest Journey is an adventure game with elements of action-adventure. It was developed for Windows platforms and the Xbox on 17 April 2006 by Norwegian developer Funcom. On 1 March 2007, an episodic continuation chapter Dream event was announced, Funcom reportedly has other plans to create a massively multiplayer online game set in The longest journey world.
The game is motivated by Funcom’s The Longest Journey, published in 1999, and will take place ten years after the events of the first game. The story focuses on three characters, Zoe Castillo, April Ryan and Kian Alvane, in two parallel worlds: Stark advanced technology and magic Arcadia. April was the protagonist of the first game, while the other two new characters. The story follows life, residing in Stark investigates the disappearance of a former boyfriend and other mysterious events that occurred until April. Meanwhile, in Arcadia, April Kian battles the villainous empire during Azadi, Azadi an elite soldier, is to murder. The game features characters performance of its predecessor, and the West Brian Gordon Halloway House, but to play the major routes is not a prerequisite for understanding the plot.

Throughout the game, the player controls either sign four players (in chronological order: Brian West House, Life, April and Kian) from the third-person perspective to explore different locations, and combine the data collection and solving puzzles. This is the story told through cutscenes, the game engine and dialogue with non-player characters.
